Location: Blackwood Campus Department: INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS, ADVANCEMENT & STRATEGIC INITIATIVES Days and Hours: M-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm; Summer M-Thur 8am-5pm Job Description: POSITION GOALS · Provides administrative assistance to the Foundation & Alumni Relations Office related to scholarships, alumni relations and all aspects of fundraising. · Demonstrate and promote a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS · Serve as a primary customer service representative to the Foundation Office. · Ability to work directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic and socio economic backgrounds. · Serve as liaison to Alumni Advisory & Foundation Board, attend board meetings, schedule subcommittee meetings, take minutes, reserve rooms. · Build trusted relationships with students and alumni. · Manage QuickBooks and The Raiser's Edge software systems for all phases of donations. · Run reports in Quickbooks, The Raiser's Edge, Informer, Datatel, Finance Enterprise. · Prepares requests for payments and checks. · Sends donor contribution acknowledgments. · Facilitate meetings under the direction of the Executive Director of the Foundation. · Oversee and supervise the preparation of materials for board meetings. · Coordinate Foundation events and activities. · Facilitate subcommittee meetings with priority for the events committee and capital campaign committees. · Facilitate the oversight of the gala through contract negotiation, vendor assignments and planning. · Performs other related duties as assigned.
