Affirmative Action No.:: 24P328 First Consideration Date:: 10/01/2024 Department:: VP-Business & Fiscal Affairs Admin Position FTE:: 100% Minimum Annual or Hourly Rate: 75,000 Job Purposes:: The Fiscal Services Manager for Athletics and Student Affairs is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial and administrative functions of the departments. This role involves developing and implementing financial strategies to support athletic programs, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints, and optimizing resource allocation. The Fiscal Services Manager will work closely with coaches, staff, and administration to align financial operations with departmental goals and objectives. Required Qualifications:: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or a closely related field; at least 7 years of related work experience OR a master's degree, and 5 years of related experience. MBA preferred. Advanced knowledge of budgeting; accounting principles; personal computer applications. May require specialized knowledge in a particular field of work; Skill in written and interpersonal communication; Ability to communicate effectively with all components of the University and external constituents; manage people and projects. Preferred Qualifications:: Experience with university computer systems including Banner, WINGS Express, COGNOS, PeopleAdmin. etc. Essential Functions and percent of time:: Budgetary Management (70%)
Departmental Collaborations (10%)
NCAA Audit and Other Reporting (15%)
