ODFR is seeking a talented communications specialist for the creation and distribution of outreach materials designated for the University research community as well as external audiences.
This highly motivated communications specialist will create communications for a range of audiences, including Princeton faculty, staff and students, as well as external supporters of research. The specialist will produce and maintain department communications materials, including creating written and visual content for websites, producing newsletters, creating and implementing a social media plan, collaborating with leaders to design and prepare reports, and producing attractive and original outreach materials. The specialist will ensure that materials represent the Office of the Dean for Researchâ™s values and the Universityâ™s welcoming environment for all.
Applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, and three samples of previous work: one example of writing content for a website or newsletter, one example of the use of social media or newsletters in a communications role, and one example of an item featuring graphic design such as a pamphlet or data visualization.

Social media management: Qualifications Essential Qualifications: ⢠Strong written and visual communication skills for producing a variety of products, including for websites, social media, multimedia and print publications.
Preferred Qualifications: ⢠Ability or demonstrated interest in learning new software and adopting new capabilities; growing as the communications landscape grows. Areas of growth could include data visualization and videos.
