The University of Tennessee, Knoxville is currently seeking applications for an Accountant II in the Office of Budget and Finance.

Position Summary: Reporting to the Director in the Office of Budget and Finance, the Accountant II will be responsible for fiscal oversight of departmental accounts receivable. The position serves as the central campus contact for departmental AR, advising units on UT fiscal policy related to receivables as well as Fair Debt Collection Practices. The Accountant II delivers applicable ERP AR training to departments and systematically onboards departments to use the ERP AR module in carrying out billing. As the CBO-level liaison between UTSA Central AR and departments, the Accountant II oversees aged receivables, the dunning process and the timely approval of write-offs or other AR adjustments. This position coordinates year-end AR and booking of accrual entries, as needed, for the campus. This position recommends, analyzes and reviews current processes to recommend process improvements and enhancements.
