Available Title(s): 105F-YN_CS_NPS - Administrative Assistant 2 Business Title: Administrative Assistant 2 Employee Type: Classified Position Details: The Opportunity: Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture (VCEA) is seeking two Administrative Assistant 2 positions, 1 to support the School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering (MME) and 1 to support the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). As an Administrative Assistant 2 you will coordinate work, manage schedules and priorities, and prepare correspondence, reports, and travel itineraries. You will provide essential support under the direction of the school's Administrative Manager, including coordinating activities, managing projects, and offering administrative assistance. Your responsibilities will include handling clerical tasks related to faculty recruitment, travel arrangements, maintaining and revising electronic database files and records, and processing reimbursements and purchasing requests. You will also explain and interpret complex policies, respond to inquiries, and oversee office operations such as mail, supplies, equipment, and maintenance requests. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with university regulations and may act on behalf of the Administrative Manager in their absence. Required Qualifications:
