The successful candidate will provide clinical ECC service for the VTH and clinical instruction of professional veterinary students, interns, residents, and graduate students. Remaining effort will comprise classroom/laboratory teaching and/or collaborative research/scholarship within the candidate's area of interest. The successful applicant should be able to effectively communicate and work collegially and collaboratively with people of diverse backgrounds and demonstrate a commitment and relevant ability to successfully advocate for diversity and values of diversity and inclusion. Applicants for associate professor or professor should have a proportionally higher level of scholarship or clinical and teaching experience along with a higher level of national/international recognition as compared to assistant professor applicants. Considerations regarding rank will be determined based on the interests and qualifications of the candidate, as will division of time between clinical duty, teaching, and scholarly activity. Area Overview: The WSU CVM is organized into five departments/schools, including VCS, Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology (VMP), Integrative Physiology and Neuroscience (IPN), the School of Molecular Biosciences (SMB), and the Paul G.
