Organization: TempForce Nursing CollabJob Summary: JOB SUMMARYVanderbilt University Medical Center's Department of Nursing Strategic Programs is dedicated to serving the VUMC Health System. The Vanderbilt Medical Center Staffing Collaborative supports nurse staffing needs as a system-wide resource. The Staffing Collaborative has created a new structure that allows alternative nursing employment at VUMC. Like a travel nurse, the Staffing Collaborative will allow Nursing staff to work 13-week assignments within a specific unit at VUMC. The Department of Nursing Strategic Programs and the Staffing Collaborative provide a new and exciting approach to nursing in a patient-focused, safe, and efficient manner. The assignment comes with premium pay and optional health benefits. Job Types: Temporary during the 13-week assignment, working full-time hours covering shifts most needed by the unit. Short-Term Assignment Key Benefits: *Premium Pay $60 - $70 *Medical Insurance benefits available through TempForce *Assignment in the same hospital (might float between units) *Work on 13-week assignments. *RNs typically work 36 hours per week based on the unit's needs. Locations Available: Nashville, TN Units Available: Acute Care, ICU, step-down, and General Care. Shifts: Night Shift 7-7 and no on-call. Length of assignment: 13 weeks Qualifications: Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration (LCR) #L1-AM1 Registered Nurse Required Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program (or equivalent experience) and 2 years relevant experience Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration (LCR): ACLS and PALS (Required) Registered Nurse Required BLS Required Additional Qualification Information: ACLS and PALS (Required) .
