Professional Position Details: The Opportunity: As the Senior Director of Development, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and administering the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication's development efforts to support an annual fundraising operation. Your responsibilities will include developing methods to accomplish fundraising goals, planning and conducting public contact programs designed to promote the public's understanding of a unit's activities and research with the aim of cultivating donors and raising money, and leading assigned development staff in philanthropic activities. These efforts may include, but are not limited to annual giving, major gift development, corporate and foundation relations, and planned gift identification and advancement. This position works collaboratively with the Washington State University Foundation development team in support of Murrow College and university strategic development goals. Senior Director of Development 1: You will have a personal, minimum, annual fundraising responsibility beginning at $1,000,000/year. Murrow College of Communication Department Name: Dean's Office City, State, Zip: Pullman, WA 99164 Department Link: Murrow College of Communication Monthly Salary: Senior Director of Development 1: $6,733.54 to $9,582.34 Senior Director of Development 2: $7,541.56 to $10,732.22 In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates typically begin up to mid-point of the salary range. For additional information, please review WSU's Administrative Professional Compensation.
