Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The CFO plans, organizes, directs, and maintains all aspects of the financial department including the development/administration of policies on finance. The CFO maintains the financial accounting systems including accounts payable, cash disbursements, financial statements, cost reports, and tax information. The CFO supervises the accounting, accounts payable, and purchasing staff. The successful candidate must have knowledge of finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, credit, investments, and internal controls. Candidate must have knowledge of management practices to direct assigned staff as well as an in-depth understanding of each of the clinic’s strategic business objectives and employee performance objectives. The CFO position requires critical thinking, a high degree of initiative, judgment, and decision-making to coordinate the operation of a major health care organization. High to moderate levels of stress on a daily basis. Must be able to accommodate extended work hours and travel out of town. This position reports to the CEO, Successful candidate should also possess the following skills:

The position requires a Bachelors Degree with a CPA certificate or Masters Degree in accounting or related field. Three years of financial management experience are required, including two years in a health care organization. CPA required. High level of computer competency desired. |
