Schedule:Full Time Shift:Days Location: 1500 SW 1st Ave Ocala, Florida 34471 The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Ocala · Horse Capital of the World – Home to the World Equestrian Center The role you’ll contribute: The Nurse Manager is the designated leader for a specific nursing unit. Responsible for the patient population and assigned staff. The Nurse Manager plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the unit activities. Provides direction, support and guidance to the charge nurses and nursing team in their development both clinically and managerially. Twenty-four hour accountability The value you’ll bring to the team: · Demonstrates responsible decision making in planning, providing, and delegating care based on assessment of patient population · Communicates effectively. Establishes and maintains two way communication with peers, staff, physicians and administration · Adapts to change in a positive, professional manner · Follows through on problems that may compromise patient care by using the appropriate chain of command The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: · Graduate of accredited school of nursing. · Minimum five years clinical experience in area of specialty or related clinical field. Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, experience.
