Another extension of Pratt's campus is the Research Yard, a 20,000-square-foot facility that brings together the research activities of Pratt Institute under one roof in the Brooklyn Navy Yard (BNY). Description The Senior Associate Director specializes in industry relations and career coaching. Manages recruitment strategies to enhance industry relation goals and establishes and maintains pipeline development with Alumni. Oversees professional development strategies for early talent recognition and career transitions for alumni. Assists all students and alumni in developing industry specific skills and strategies to adapt to the changing world of work in creative industries. Oversees employer programming including guest speakers and alumni. The Senior Associate Director acts as a liaison to departments in the School of Design, collaborating with faculty in providing recruitment events, relevant coaching, programming and support. The Senior Director stays abreast of trends and develops a deep understanding of industry recruitment strategies and best practices across all majors. Counsels students and alumni from all majors across the arts, design, information, architecture, liberal arts, nonprofit sector and other areas of expertise as needed. Supervises two Assoc Directors to create and implement a robust employer relations strategy, including setting goals for engagement and impact, measuring across employment outcomes for all majors and schools.
