Requisition: 202400391S Occupational Category (Staff Positions Only): Technical/Para-Professional Hiring Salary: Monthly-Staff Department: Nursing General Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field. Two years relevant experience or experience in a related field. Medical or Health Professions education knowledge & experience preferred. Experience in Higher Education is desirable. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered. Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties: Performs highly advanced duties for Sam Houston State University (SHSU) School of Nursing. Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only): Performs highly advanced specialist duties for Sam Houston State University (SHSU) School of Nursing (SON). Accountable for the execution and follow through of complex and technical responsibilities. Works with the SON Advisor on admission and recruitment of students within the program. Plans, executes, and participates in recruiting events for the School of Nursing. Builds relationships and represents the SON professionally. Collaborates with the SON Clinical Coordinator to facilitate and assure timely credentialing for faculty and student clinical rotations. Performs other related duties as assigned.
