The PGY1 Residency program at IU Health Ball Memorial emphasizes the development of advanced knowledge and application of pharmacotherapeutics in the provision of multi-disciplinary, quality patient care. This program cultivates the skills of practice management and education and the professional attitudes of self-evaluation, self-improvement, and accountability. The successful resident will demonstrate a desire to learn, sincere interest in the profession, and dedication to achieving all outcomes of the residency. IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital is a regional community-based hospital serving the East Central region of Indiana. Pharmacy services support inpatient, emergency, and ambulatory care areas.

RotationsEach PGY1 resident is required to successfully complete twelve months of rotations. The resident’s rotation preferences will be considered when making and adjusting the rotation schedule. Required rotations cover the following areas of practice:
