Employee Engagement and Retention Specialist

The Employee Engagement and Retention Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing programs and initiatives to help create an environment that employees of all levels feel energized about and can thrive in, as well as ensuring alignment with the UHS values. This role includes but is not limited to, focusing on improving the overall employment experience, analyzing retention metrics, staffing diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) initiatives, and driving long-term retention and significant decrease in voluntary attrition. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our employees, patients, and your own! COMPENSATION + BENEFITS: The base pay range for this full-time position is $76,960.00 to $115,440.00. This position is also eligible for various competitive benefits, PTO accrual, and retirement plans with employer match. Looking to make a big move to start your next adventure? WORK ENVIRONMENT: In bringing such focus to employee engagement and retention, the ideal candidate will be able to be on site throughout most of the workweek and provide flexibility. As a system, UHS has various locations across the Greater Binghamton area in which we service. The role has the potential to transform into a more hybrid approach as it develops.
