These offices are dedicated to ensuring the integrity of data submitted,recorded,and reported and to providing the highest level of financial services in support of the University's mission in Biomedical Research. Responsibilities The Staff Accountant in the Controller’s Office, is responsible for supporting the Finance Office in a broad range of activities. Primary responsibilities include:
Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and a minimum of two years of accounting or related experience required.
Preferred Qualifications Must have strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, and be hands-on, self-starting, disciplined, and detailed-oriented with the ability to work independently. Must have a strong understanding of proper accounting treatment for accounts receivable transactions and other activities. Experience with written and verbal internal and external customer communications, as well as experience with journal entries and general ledger reconciliation, required. Must have a high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on various factors, including but not limited to organizational budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The hiring range provided represents The Rockefeller University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Compensation Range: Min USD $60,000.00/Yr. Compensation Range: Max USD $70,000.00/Yr.
