Job Summary: | UW Clinical Trials Institute (CTI) is a partnership between the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) and UW Health. It supports clinical research professionals, investigators and participants to advance discovery and research in the prevention, detection, and treatment of disease to help improve the health of individuals, families, and communities across Wisconsin and beyond. Our exceptionally talented workforce provides care, support, and provide information to clinical trials participants; resources, training, and guidance to research professionals; and opportunities for industry partners to advance groundbreaking medical research.
The Quality and Compliance Project Coordinator will work within the Clinical Trials Institute to support quality and compliance committee activities and strategic initiatives through coordination and optimization of workflows, organization of committee materials and agendas, interfacing with study teams to ensure provision of updated information, assisting in developing reports and executive summaries, documenting committee decisions and communication, , and tracking and analyzing quality and compliance trends across all SMPH clinical trials. A high volume and fast paced environment, CTI supports clinical trials throughout the UW System and conducts strategic planning to meet the needs of researchers and patients.
Candidates must be comfortable working with all levels of the organization and across multiple entities to support the advancement of high-quality clinical research. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity, demonstrate initiative, and possess a self-starter mindset while having a high level of organization. | Responsibilities: | Plans, analyzes, manages, coordinates, and tracks projects and quality improvement efforts for processes, procedures, and systems. - 30% Analyzes data and trends, compiles progress reports, and provides appropriate recommendations or conclusions
- 10% Serves as the initial point of contact for the project(s), serves on committees, and attends meetings representing the interests of the project(s)
- 20% Provides support to committees including, intake of committee materials, development of agendas, documentation of decisions, and drafting committee communications in a timely fashion
