/></span></span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span><span><strong>Wonderful Opportunity for Experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner! </strong></span></span></p><p> </p><br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br /><p><span>Pediatrix has an opportunity for a BC/BE neonatologist to join a well-established national group of physicians providing care to neonates at Christus St. Michaelâ™s Hospital in Texarkana, TX.</span></p><ul><li><span>Christus St. Michael's Hospital was ranked by <em>Modern Healthcare</em> as one of the <strong> in 2017.

  • The Level-III NICU has 8 beds and the intermediate unit has 7 with an average daily census of 9 infants.
  • The neonatologists see babies in the newborn nursery with approximately 2,100 deliveries annually.
  • NNPs provide 24-hour, in-house coverage and they also care for preemies and term babies who need mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide, oscillator ventilation and total body cooling.
