Posted Job Title Research Specialist A/B (Department of Neurosurgery) Job Profile Title Research Specialist A Job Description Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Research Specialist with experience in signal processing, machine learning, structural imaging (diffusion/angiography/ct/mri) and intracranial EEG (iEEG) analysis to join our cutting-edge neuroscience research team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new approaches to targeting neuromodulation to brain networks and applying advanced techniques to analyze iEEG data. The goal of the project is to develop novel neurotechnologies and identify neural biomarkers related to brain function and psychiatric disorders. Job Description Research Specialist A: Plans and conducts basic experiments to meet research project objectives, with close supervision. Assists in performing laboratory experiments and clinical studies for product or material formulation and development. Daily management of laboratory tools, documentations and processes to ensure regulatory compliance and timely completion of project/program deliverables. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills for conducting experiment documentation. Research Specialist B: Will Work closely with neuroscientists, clinicians, and engineers to integrate data analysis pipelines with clinical trials and experimental protocols. Able to analyze spectral data from iEEG recordings to identify patterns and features associated with specific neural activities or clinical conditions. Contribute to organizing, preprocessing, and managing large-scale iEEG datasets using best practices in data science, ensuring data integrity and reproducibility. This position is contingent upon funding. Job Location - City, State Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department / School Perelman School of Medicine Pay Range $43,888.00 - $57,335.40 Annual Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
