Posted Job Title Technician, Ultrasound Job Profile Title Technician, Ultrasound Job Description Summary The highly qualified and experienced ultrasound technician will be a Cardiac Sonographer at the Penn Center for Quantitative Echocardiography and be responsible for highly specialized echocardiographic studies utilizing 2D, 3D, and Doppler techniques. Sonographer will compile and maintain files according to department procedures. Sonographer will perform specialized offline quantitation of echocardiographic images according to the American Society of Echocardiography and department guidelines, ensuring accurate, precise, and reproducible results. Sonographer will engage in continuing education related to state-of-the-art ultrasound techniques for the assessment of cardiovascular physiology.
