Quality Improvement Advisor

The Quality Improvement (QI) Advisor leads improvement work within the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals (BCH) in Oakland and San Francisco, across all care settings. The QI Advisor works in close partnership with physicians, nursing, and administrative leadership to improve quality and safety, which includes: the development of short and long-term quality and safety goals; managing a large portfolio of quality and safety initiatives; analyzing data from multiple sources; and educating faculty and staff on quality improvement methods and tools. This role works independently and in collaboration with Quality & Safety, Continuous Improvement, Quality Built-In, and other UCSF and BCH departments. It is jointly accountable for the quality and safety performance of their assigned projects. The annual salary range for this position is $118,300 - $268,900, with a target entry point at $148,800+ depending on experience.
