Manager - Strategic Sourcing

BJC HealthCare is currently looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of supply chain managers and drive results.  Duties will include, but are not limited to: contract management, contract negotiation, process improvement, and strategy.  Apply and begin growing with BJC today!

Role Purpose

Provides the strategic vision, as well as ensures performance to the direction through the management of a team of sourcing managers and sourcing coordinators. Leader's team negotiates, implements and evaluates an assigned section of BJC's portfolio of capital, pharmacy, supply, service, IT, marketing, HR, or finance contracts. Develops strategies for the efficient and cost effective sourcing of products and services to meet the organizational requirements. Reviews and analyzes the market, technologies, trends, and purchase history to determine the potential impacts and improvements capable in the market place. Additionally, reviews and analyzes new equipment, products, and services. Works with senior executives internally and externally to measure and improve supplier performance across all aspects of their relationship with BJC. Creates and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the department's goals.
