Additional Information About the Role BJH is hiring for a Call Center/Interpreter. We are looking for candidates who are bilingual. Epic experience preferred. This is an onsite position. Must be able to pass an language assessment. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Interprets for non/limited English-speaking patients and English speaking health care providers in BJH, Children's Hospital and Washington University Medical Center health care environments. Promotes effective care of non-English speaking patients through cultural and linguistic bridging.Performs all or most of the following job duties: answering the telephones; scheduling patient appointments; interpreter deployment; registering patients in the computer; checking patients out; scheduling follow up visit if needed. May also be required to enter physician-related charges into the computer, as well as billing of hospital/interpreter service charges.
