Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery services, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance services and more.

Nursing Office: Consist of House/Nursing Supervisors whom provide administrative coverage during off hours, the premium pay, float pool nursing staff, and float patient care techs.

Role Purpose

The House Supervisor is delegated the authority and responsibility for administrative supervision of patient care and other hospital departments, serving as a representative of Administration in the absence of the Administrator during off shifts. Acts as a liaison with departments and/or consults with Administrator on call to handle unusual circumstances, appropriate resources, and investigate and resolve clinical problems/complaints.
