Precourt Institute for Energy As part of the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, the Precourt Institute for Energy concentrates the talents of the University on energy research and education, from basic science and technology to policy and business. We disseminate research results and help the University develop energy-literate leaders as part of its educational mission. We work across campus in all seven of Stanford's schools. We also build collaborations globally with industry, other research institutions, government, and civic organizations in pursuit of sustainable, affordable, secure energy for all people. Explore Energy Program Explore Energy is a student engagement and energy education program under the Precourt Institute for Energy. It serves as a one-stop resource and nexus of connection for all students who are interested in energy--aggregating classes, majors, events, research, student clubs, internships, and jobs across campus. Courses, fellowships, mentorship, and a residential living program are also offered under the Explore Energy umbrella at Precourt for both undergraduates and graduates of any major, providing opportunities for students to learn about energy and sustainability both in an academic and an applied setting. The Explore Energy program has an advisory board of Stanford faculty and staff. Seeking Assistant Director, Explore Energy Stanford Energy's Precourt Institute for Energy seeks an Explore Energy Assistant Director to develop and lead a comprehensive program for energy education and experiential learning. The Explore Energy program is Precourt's student engagement program that serves all students across Stanford's seven schools. In addition to managing existing programming, this role will support key areas of integration and expansion of the Explore Energy program. The Assistant Director will also have management and supervisory responsibilities. The candidate should be a strategic leader with knowledge of the energy field, an enthusiasm to work with students, and experience with community building. A large part of this role is forging and sustaining connections across all of Stanford's schools, departments, and institutes. The Assistant Director for the Explore Energy Program will report to Dr. Diana Gragg, the Explore Energy Managing Director. Precourt's Explore Energy serves two main roles:

Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
