Requisition Number: Staff_13571 Business Unit: Academic Affairs Department: Financial Aid 50001218 Reg-Temp: Full-Time Regular Additional Information: Position Summary: Responsible for the coordination of the UNMC scholarship process with all academic programs; UN Foundation, outside donors and other federal/private agencies. Responsible for the budgetary compliance and reconciliation administration of all scholarships received at UNMC. Annually exceeds $20 million. Responsible for the monthly reconciliation of student loan funds through the federal Direct Loan program and Title IV/Title VII Campus Based Loan programs. Annually exceeds $65 million. Responsible for the accounting controls and reporting responsibilities of the total life cycle of Campus Based student loans. Works in conjunction with UNMC's third party campus based loan repayment management contractor, Heartland/ECSI, facilitating campus based: loan repayments, loan delinquencies, loan defaults, loans in collection, and the loan assignment process. Assist prior borrowers with loan repayment issues, concerns, difficulties. Annually these programs have at least $10 million in awards and borrower repayments. Assists the UNMC Financial Aid Office in ongoing student financial aid processes and annual development of the People Soft student information system. Salary Range: $44,300 - $62,000/annual
