Department Name: H4014:Patient Accounts Job Summary: The Collections Technology Trainer/UKHC is responsible for developing and presenting teaching related to computer-based patient care systems, and providing education on cash handling, deposit and reconciliation processes. This position is also responsible for the development and administration of competency tests, (including auditing of end users) as well as providing one-on-one and classroom instruction. This position will be Hybrid Remote. Skills /Knowledge/Abilities: Specific skill sets which may be required to perform the duties of the position: The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking skills; effective planning and organizational skills; strong technology and programming skills, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint and knowledge regarding auditing, training, and patient registration practices and procedures highly preferred, but not necessary. Position Time Status: Full-Time Required Education: BS Required Related Experience: 3 yrs Required License/Registration/Certification : None Preferred Education/Experience: Prior experience in training preferred. Experience with healthcare, health insurance, patient registration, and/or technology a plus.
