Summary Washington Permanente Medical Group, the Northwest's premier multi-specialty group, is currently seeking an hourly locum BE/BC Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician or BE/BC Geriatrics physician to join our highly collaborative and collegial team. This is a per diem position that offers both inpatient and outpatient shifts and could include virtual work. Our interdisciplinary team engages with engage with patients who are living with serious illness. Our Palliative Medicine Physicians work directly with the patient and their families and caregivers, and their Primary Care and Specialty providers, to create a customized holistic plan of care. Our goal is to improve patient and caregiver quality of life on their terms and optimize service by aligning clinical care with patient values and goals. Location: This position is based at our Capitol Hill Campus. Depending on shift preference could also include opportunities to work in Bellevue and Tacoma. This position includes both outpatient and inpatient shifts. BE/BC Hospice and Palliative Medicine or BE/BC Geriatrics or Masters in Palliative Medicine or Geriatrics required. Tacoma Medical Center is a multispecialty medical center. Lab, Radiology and Pharmacy on site. Office hours are 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday with Urgent Care open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As a condition of employment, all clinicians and employees are required to verify COVID-19 vaccination status. Compensation and Benefits The entire hourly rate range for this position is $145.20 to $162.08 per hour. Placement of new hires will be in the range of $139.61 to $155.84 based on factors such as education, training or experience. Benefits include: Full malpractice indemnification (including tail coverage), employer contributions to social security.
