Established in 1957, the department of Nuclear Engineering in the Tickle College of Engineering was the first and continues to be one of the most prestigious in the United States. Our graduate program is consistently ranked as one of the top in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. The Nuclear Engineering department is seeking a Graduate Program Coordinator. This position has responsibility of managing the strategic operations and effectiveness of the graduate education and research enterprise within the Nuclear Engineering Department. This includes budget authority for the GTA budget allocation for the NE Department and the graduate recruiting budget and direct supervision of the graduate teaching assistants, including making course assignments and ensuring that the GTAs are mentored to provide an effective educational experience for the NE undergraduate and graduate students. The NE GPC will ensure a high-quality student experience, beginning with pre-graduate school interactions and recruiting and extending through degree completion and job placement. The NE GPC will maintain ongoing engagement with the broader nuclear industry to build a community of partners committed to NE graduate student success.
