Postdoctoral Research Associate Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research associate position in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville to begin in early 2025. The successful applicant will work as part of a multi-investigator project led by Prof. Steven Johnston and in collaboration with Profs. Adrian Del Maestro (UTK), Cristian Batista (UTK), Adrian Feiguin (Northeastern), and as well as our collaborators at Brookhaven, Los Alamos and Oak Ridge National Labs. The members of this project are leveraging advanced computational methods, including techniques in machine learning and data science, to model strongly correlated quantum materials with a strong connection to resonant inelastic x-ray scattering experiments.
