| The Research Data Analyst will work closely with the Principal Investigator and the Project Manager to adapt, pilot and demonstrate the feasibility of evidenced-based guaranteed income (GI) interventions. The Silicon Valley Guaranteed Income Project (SVGIP) is a mixed-methods randomized controlled trial (RCT) to assess the effectiveness of guaranteed income on improving housing stability among 300 families with children in Santa Clara County experiencing homelessness. This RCT is informed by community-engaged research design in partnership with key public and non-profit community organizations. It is informed by an equity and justice implementation lens to focus on key priority populations including women-led, Black, and Latinx households at disproportionately higher risk for homelessness. The Analyst will be primarily responsible carrying out participant interviews both in-person and remotely, and in English and Spanish. They will also help support participant retention and disbursement of participant incentives. They will support other aspects of project administration with oversight from the project manager and senior analysts. The work performed by the Analyst will contribute to the intellectual products disseminated by the Principal Investigators on the topics of GI and housing stability of families at risk for homelessness in Santa Clara County. The analyst may work on other studies based on project needs and the analyst's workload. The analyst will, under the direction of a Project Manager, engage in activities including:
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $67,000 - $94,200 (Annual Rate).
