Job Duties: The Adult and Pediatric Health Care (APHC) practice is staffed by physicians trained in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. This individual will have opportunities to provide wellness, chronic disease management, and acute care to adults and children seeking medical care in the primary care medical home. The provider reports to the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics through the Division Chief of Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and is responsible for providing medical services to infants, children, adolescents and Adults in the outpatient clinics. In addition, direct supervision and teaching of resident physicians in our Internal Medicine training program is expected. Additional duties are available, including Clinical work in the Internal Medicine and Pediatric inpatient services, which also includes direct supervision and teaching of resident physicians and medical students. Opportunities to participate in clinical research are available, but not mandatory.
