Computer Science and Technology Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Computer Science & Technology Teacher to join our educational team. Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cover various computer science topics, including programming, digital literacy, and internet safety.
• Manage classroom activities effectively, ensuring a productive and respectful learning environment.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide feedback to support their academic growth.
• Incorporate hands-on activities and laboratory work to enhance students' understanding of computer concepts.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including special education needs.
• Collaborate with other educators to integrate technology across the curriculum.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in technology and educational practices.
• Provide library services related to computer resources and materials for student use.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field. Masters preferred.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create an inclusive environment for all learners.
• Knowledge of discrete math, trigonometry, and other relevant subjects is a plus.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is desirable.
• Ability to design assessments that align with curriculum goals and measure student understanding effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students in learning.
