![]() Assistant Professor- Academic Clinician, Pediatric Behavioral Health (CHOP) Location: Philadelphia, PA Open Date: Jan 03, 2024 Deadline: Jan 03, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Pediatric Psychology. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. PA License in Psychology. Teaching responsibilities may include supervising behavioral health trainees (including psychology externs and interns); giving lectures to trainees in psychology, psychiatry, and pediatrics; develop curricula. Clinical responsibilities may include assessment and treatment services to children and families with acute and chronic illnesses in inpatient and outpatient settings which may involve supporting youth and families adjusting to medical conditions and managing co-existing psychosocial concerns. Positions are available for clinicians with expertise in: delivery of evidence-based care, program development and quality improvement, and integrated behavioral health care for children with acute and/or chronic illnesses and their families. Specific recruiting programs may include: Pediatric Health and Behavior Program, Neurology Behavioral Health, and the Behavioral Health Integrated Program.
