The Avery Coonley School is seeking an experienced, dynamic, student-centered K-4 math specialist. The math specialist is a member of the kindergarten through 8th grade math team and is tasked with providing one-on-one and small group support to students in grades K-4. The candidate will be skilled in developing students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills and will employ a variety of instructional strategies to ensure that all students are challenged to attain mastery of complex concepts. The candidate is committed to creating an environment where each student is encouraged to reach their full potential. The candidate must be able to integrate technology in a one-to-one classroom environment. Experience with honors-level Algebra I, Geometry, and STEAM curriculum is preferred. Responsibilities
