 Assistant/Associate/Full Professor(s) in Academic Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Position Overview: The salary range for this position is Assistant Professor $348,490- $453,597, Associate Professor $417,271- $532,788 and Full Professor $440,478- $586,896. This position includes membership in the [Health Sciences Compensation Plan] hyperlinked to https://aadocs.ucdavis.edu/policies/apm/apm-670.pdf Department of Surgery Assistant/Associate/Full Professor(s) in Academic Trauma and Acute Care Surgery The Department of Surgery at the University of California, Davis Health located in Sacramento, California, seeks to recruit two full-time Academic Trauma Surgeon(s) at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor level in the Health Science Clinical Professor, Clinical X or In-Residence series; dependent upon experience and qualification. Expectations of a Clinical X and In-Residence series are to engage in teaching, research, service and clinical work, while expectations of faculty in the HSCP series are primarily clinical and include teaching, service and scholarly and/or creative activities. The selected candidate(s) will contribute to the growth of the educational, research and clinical missions of the surgical programs at UC Davis Health. Expected responsibilities include teaching; both inpatient and outpatient, clinical care, resident and fellow teaching, research related to trauma services and participation in the trauma, acute care surgery and surgical critical care team conferences.
