Posted Job Title ISSS Advisor Job Profile Title Advisor International Programs Job Description Summary The ISSS Advisor advises international students, scholars, faculty, and staff and Penn community in person, by phone or virtual call, and via email regarding federal immigration and employment regulations, Penn resources, and personal/cultural matters. Advise and provide information and guidance to Penn departments (including the University of Pennsylvania Health System) on regulations and policies related to nonimmigrant status (F-1, J-1, H-1B, TN, E-3, O-1, B- 1/B-2, etc.) Administer F and J programs as Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO). Process eform requests. Also represent the University in applications/communications with federal, state, and local agencies, including Department of Homeland Security, Department of Labor, Department of State, PENNDOT, Social Security Administration. Create, develop, and implement immigration workshops for international students, scholars, employees, and hiring/hosting departments, and attend integration programming for international students and scholars to build an inclusive Penn international community. May prepare and file Prevailing Wage Determination Requests and Labor Condition Applications with the US Department of Labor, and I-129s with US Citizenship and Immigration Services, including any follow-up, tracking, and responding to time-sensitive audits and requests for (additional) evidence. In addition to H-1Bs, may process and file applications with USCIS and/or DOL for E-3s and TNs. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Description Job Responsibilities

Job Location - City, State Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department / School Penn Global Pay Range $43,919.00 - $63,000.00 Annual Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
