Job DescriptionThe Montgomery College, Adult ESOL & Literacy-GED Special Programs, is currently accepting applications for possible openings as a part-time faculty member teaching In-person ABE/GED classes in an educational setting located within a Maximum Security Correctional Facility. This particular teaching opportunity is part-time and is located at Clarksburg Maximum Security Jail in Boyds, MD. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated ABE/GED teachers who exhibit a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to our students, and demonstrate the ability to motivate and educate in an engaging manner.
Duties and Responsibilities: Montgomery College is seeking an adjunct instructor for its in-person ABE/GED classes in an education setting located within a maximum-security correctional facility. The instructor will be responsible for teaching courses related to all areas required for completion of the GED(r) (Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science).
