Job Summary
The Project Manager, Strategy and Operations, will plan, organize, monitor, and oversee complex projects utilizing cross-functional teams to deliver defined requirements and meet Harris Health System strategic and operational objectives. The Project Manager will support all levels of leadership in Care Transitions & Integration, ensuring that performance initiatives and operations are implemented efficiently system-wide in a consistent, timely, and uniform manner in an effort to transform the Health System. The Project Manager will work with various clinical and operational stakeholders, vendors, information technology, legal and purchasing independently to define projects' objectives and scopes, managing internal and external relationships through effective communication. This position will collaborate with all Health System stakeholders to determine operational gaps and provide support for any project activity.
Minimum Qualifications
Degrees: Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
Licensure & Certification:
Six Sigma Green Belt LSSGB or Six Sigma Black Belt LSSBB required within 2 years of beginning this position.
Work Experience: Three (3) years of work experience in project management, strategic planning, or operational experience required, preferably in a healthcare environment. Master's Degree and Six Sigma Green Belt may substitute for 1 year work experience; Master's Degree and Six Sigma Black Belt may substitute for 2 years' work experience.
Management Experience: Three (3) years of management experience preferred, preferably in a health care setting.
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact), Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking), Writing/Correspondence, Writing/Reports.
Proficiencies: MS Excel, MS Word, PC.
