Director of Education
VCIA
Status: Exempt 40 hours/week Location: Work From Home (VT preferred); ability to make in-person staff meetings every 4-6 weeks (sometimes more frequent leading up to annual conference) Primary Function: To develop, implement, and manage all education activities for the VCIA Reports to / Supervision Received From: Oversight and general direction from the CEO Compensation Rate: $75-85,000 per year, based on experience Please send your tailored cover letter in response to this job description, and resume, to VCIA CEO Kevin Mead, kmead@vcia.com Applications due no later than EOD Friday February 28th, 2025 Duties & Responsibilities: Serve as primary liaison for all VCIA programs with the relevant external parties; develop a yearly (or multi-year) education and event plan that is consistent with the mission of the organization and the strategic plan.
Specifically: Review delivery methodologies and develop plans for enhancement Develop an understanding of the marketplace (ICCIE, content from service providers, commercial operations, other domiciles) to develop a compete/complement model that will benefit the VCIA
Key relationships being:
Review and confirm current Asana assignments Develop and agree the handover points from education tasks for meetings to meeting planning tasks
