Internship Coordinator - School of Business - (Admin Non-Teaching Adjunct 2-3) GENERAL DUTIES Completes non-teaching projects or complex work in support of a Campus or University administrative or academic department. This work is generally of a temporary nature and requires specialized experience or expertise. CONTRACT TITLE Non-Teaching Adjunct FLSA Exempt CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION Medgar Evers College (MEC), a nationally recognized leader in urban-serving education, is one of twenty five colleges within the dynamic City University New York (CUNY) System. Named for the late civil rights leader, Medgar Wiley Evers (1925-1963), the College's mission is to develop and maintain high quality, professional, career-oriented undergraduate degree programs in the context of liberal education. Located in Central Brooklyn, MEC was established in 1970 with a mandate to meet the educational and social needs of the Central Brooklyn community. The College is committed to a student-centered education and advancing knowledge through scholarly research. Medgar Evers College seeks an Internship Coordinator to oversee and manage its Internship Program within the School of Business (SoB). The SoB has had a formal internship program for many years that has been aligned with internship courses for each academic department. This position will be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive internship strategy for the School of Business. Reporting to the Dean for the School of Business, the Internship Coordinator will streamline operations and ensure consistent support for students and faculty within the program. They will also establish and maintain relationships with businesses and organizations enabling the School of Business to build a robust network of partners, create sustainable pipelines for internships and potential post-graduation employment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree required. COMPENSATION NTA Level II: 47.42 NTA Level III: $53.79 BENEFITS CUNY offers a comprehensive benefits package to employees and eligible dependents based on job title and classification.
