Job Summary
The Program Manager, Business Operations & External Affairs (PMBOEA), will play a key role in supporting the health system's operational goals by facilitating the management of day-to-day operations for external-facing relationships within the department of Care Transitions and Integration (CTI). This scope will include vendors supporting Outsourced Medical Services, Emergency Medical Services, Hospital at Home, House Calls as well as any external vendor referred to out of acute settings. This role will be fully accountable for all administrative duties for vendor relations including, but is not limited to, maintaining the Vendor Management calendar, scheduling all meetings, documenting and maintaining meeting minutes, creating timely meeting agendas and maintaining patient incident tracking. This position will collaborate closely with the Director, Operational Development & External Affairs (DODEA), for continuous development and improvement of the Vendor Management program for CTI, in partnership with senior leadership, to drive business goals. This role will be responsible for partnering with Business Intelligence and Data Analytics personnel to collect and communicate relevant operational data related to the vendors' performance and operations with Harris Health. This role will be responsible for ensuring vendors' adherence to quality standards, maintaining any documentation and reporting related to outcomes. The position will also monitor and evaluate vendor performance, facilitating clear communication between internal and external stakeholders to meet service delivery expectations by managing joint quality review meetings, maintaining all program documentation and serving as a liaison between Harris Health and external-facing partners.
The PMBOEA will also support operational development efforts by partnering with the DODEA to drive strategic initiatives, develop operational communication tools for department end executive leadership, as well as supporting with project throughput to meet the goals of the organization. The role will also participate and supporting all vendor contracting components that flow through Harris Health as well provider agreements that flow through Community Health Choice in tandem with the DODEA.
This role will also be responsible for providing critical administrative support such as the scheduling and coordinating of meetings for CTI leadership with both internal and external stakeholders, the documentation and management of significant meeting discussions, tracking of relevant action items and ensuring adequate supply monitoring and ordering for CTI leadership and staff for business continuity.
Minimum Qualifications
Degrees:
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Administration or related healthcare field (Preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Administration or related healthcare field
Licenses & Certifications:
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (LSSYB) OR Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) must be acquired upon hire or within two-years of hire
Work Experience:
- Three (3) Years of Experience in program coordination, project management, administrative work and/or process improvement
