Registered Nurse, full-time 8-hour days/evenings, Infectious Disease, Morristown Medical Center

The nurse will deliver a menu of sexual health and harm reduction health services for populations at risk for HIV/HCV/STI in the Sexual Health Center and local field-based sites.

Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more. Position requires local travel to field-based locations to deliver health services to vulnerable populations.


Principal Accountabilities:

1. Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
2. Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
3. Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
4. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
5. Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
6. Records patient vital signs and medical information.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
