INSTRUCTIONAL-TRACK FACULTY BUSINESS COMMUNICATION

The Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for one non-tenure Instructional Track Faculty Position in Business Communication at the level of Assistant Professor of Instruction or Practice, Associate Professor of Instruction or Practice, or Full Professor of Instruction or Practice, starting August 20, 2025. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Position is 100% time (teaching 8 classes/year) and include a 1-7 year contract with benefits. Appointments are renewable and contingent on satisfactory performance and availability of funding. In addition to teaching, faculty members are expected to participate in committee service and curriculum development. Faculty receive grading support based on enrollments. The business communication faculty group at the Tippie College of Business collaborates to deliver a dynamic and engaging set of courses to undergraduate, Master's, and doctoral-level students. In partnership with the Judith R. Frank Business Communication Center and with administrative support from the Department of Accounting, Tippie business communication faculty receive grading support and development funds. Tippie's business communication courses deliver critical instruction for communication skill development including writing, presenting, visual communication, storytelling in business, and effective use of Artificial Intelligence in the workplace.
