Director of Rentals and Presentations

JOB SUMMARYThe Director of Rentals and Presentations oversees all rentals and presentations at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. These events are designed to generate additional revenue, activate the hall whenever the Orchestra is not performing on stage, make the hall available for local and national partners, and meet ambitious revenue goals for the organization. These efforts are an integral part of the BSO’s ongoing commitment to make the Meyerhoff a “Hall for All.” This position actively promotes the JMSH as a premier venue for private events, maintains relationships with existing clients, cultivates and attracts new prospects, and identifies wide-ranging business opportunities. The Director works closely with the BSO’s Associate Director of Production and the Manager of Operations. Additionally, the position collaborates with numerous BSO teams that provide ongoing support in key areas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
