Position Description Trinity Valley School seeks a full-time science teacher to join the Upper School faculty beginning in the 2025-2026 school year. The Science Department at Trinity Valley School The science department at Trinity Valley School seeks applicants who bring passion for teaching the process of scientific inquiry through a modern examination of the core disciplines of biology, chemistry, and physics. Specifically, TVS is looking to add an educator to our team to augment our instruction in biology and chemistry. In addition, the successful applicant will teach electives with the opportunity to develop semester courses that complement the department’s current offerings. The department is a team of creative, experienced educators who utilize a wide variety of pedagogical techniques to develop critical thinking skills that cultivate intelligent citizens who appreciate and utilize the processes of scientific inquiry. We are excited to add an additional member who has an eagerness to build meaningful, collaborative relationships with students and faculty while demonstrating consistent enthusiasm for learning and growth. Above all, the school seeks candidates who love working with young people and place students at the heart of their instructional practice. TVS welcomes candidates who are both comfortable serving as advisors to groups of 10-12 Upper School students and willing to engage in campus life through coaching, volunteering with Trojan Outdoor Experience (TOE), leading students on Trojans Abroad Programs, and/or sponsoring co-curricular clubs and programs.
