Position Summary:Adams State University Admissions department is seeking an Admissions Counselor responsible for outreach, recruitment, and counseling of prospective students in the San Luis Valley and South-Central Colorado regions. Key duties include representing Adams State University at college fairs, high school visits, and other outreach activities. This role will work closely with the 14 high schools in the San Luis Valley, as well as other schools in the broader region. The Admissions Counselor will maintain communication with prospective students and their families, review admissions applications, coordinate recruitment events, build relationships with high school counselors, and provide general advising on admissions, financial aid, and academics. Some travel (in-state and out-of-state), along with evening and weekend work, is required.Key Responsibilities:

Salary and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $38,412-$43,692.
