![]() Financial Operations Manager Job ID: Location: Main Campus - UCR Schedule: 8AM - 5PM Category: Accounting and Finance Salary: $73,600 - $133,200 Full/Part Time: Full-time(100%) Organization: College of Humanities Arts & Social Sciences Department: Cindy Williams Application Deadline: Open Until Filled Position Information: The College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences is currently recruiting for a Financial Operations Manager (FOM) within our Interdisciplinary Programs and Centers which include Global Studies, Labor Studies, Liberal Studies, Middle Eastern Studies, Southeast Asian Studies, Latin American Studies, GLUCK, and the Latino and Latin American Studies Research Center, Inland Empire Labor and Community Center, Center for Bibliographic Studies, and the Young Oak Kim Center. This FOM position provides oversight and coordination of the financial and administrative support functions for these units. This position reports to the Divisional Financial and has primary responsibility for providing management, coordination and oversight of the daily operations of the programs/centers include financial, human resources, academic support, contract and grants, facilities management and other operational matters. The department's academic personnel include ladder rank faculty, Professor(s) of Teaching, Visiting Professors, Researchers, and Graduate Student Researchers and Teaching Assistants. Programs offer undergraduate degree or minor choices for the various programs that they support. The total operating budgets for these units is over $5.5M. This position manages business, accountability, stewardship, publicity, and support functions in the programs and centers to achieve individual and CHASS goals and objectives in meeting the mission of the University. The incumbent has significant responsibility to organize work and achieve broadly stated goals for the units they serve. This would include identifying objectives, developing strategies, and policies, and functions with a reasonable degree of autonomy in collaboration with the Program Chairs, Center Directors, and the Divisional Financial and Administrative Officer. The full salary range for the Financial Operations Manager is $73,600.00 - $133,200 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.
