Posted Job Title Education Assistant and Receptionist, Morris Arboretum & Gardens Job Profile Title Receptionist Job Description Summary The Education Assistant and Receptionist at Morris Arboretum's Adult Education Department is responsible for managing the online program registration system, including data entry, processing registrations and refunds, and assisting with program performance reporting. Collaborating with the Assistant Director, this role supports program setup and logistics. Additionally, the position handles phone inquiries about general visitor information, admissions, and event registrations, such as for the Holiday Garden Railway Nights. The role requires effective communication with members, visitors, and students, both over the phone and in-person, and includes welcoming and guiding office guests. This shared part-time role operates on an alternating schedule of 2-3 days per week, averaging at least 17.5 hours, with occasional weekend and evening shifts.
