![]() Project Manager- NUPD About the Opportunity Project Manager This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. JOB SUMMARY The Project Manager's primary responsibility is overseeing and managing multiple projects across the division, ensuring alignment with division goals, timelines, and budgets. This includes coordinating resources, monitoring project progress, providing regular updates to leadership, and supporting the division's accreditation and standards compliance. The Project Manager also plays a key role in improving project efficiencies and supporting teams in meeting strategic objectives. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Advanced project management skills, with experience using tools like Microsoft Project, Asana, or other project management software. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Knowledge of financial tracking and resource management within a project context is highly preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and stakeholders. Ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. A bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates with PMP or equivalent certification. Minimum of five to seven years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in a higher education, police academy, or large organizational environment.
