Program Coordinator, Speech and Hearing Clinic, College of Allied Health Science

Job Overview

The College of Allied Health Sciences Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is searching for a full-time Program Coordinator to provide administrative support to the UC Speech and Hearing Clinic. Programs in this department include undergraduate (Speech Language Hearing Sciences) and graduate (Speech Language Pathology, Audiology, CSD PhD, and Clinical Doctorate in SLP). The Program Coordinator will oversee day-to-day clinic operations, support clinical supervisors and students, and ensure efficient communication between faculty, students, and patients, while maintaining compliance with clinic policies and procedures. This position will support the University?s mission and commitment to excellence.

A flexible hybrid schedule is permitted in accordance with UC policy and based on the Speech and Hearing Clinic needs. This position has a projected start date in summer 2025.

Essential Functions

• Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students to support clinic goals.
• Responsible for management of clinic scheduling and billing/invoicing.
• Respond to clinic-related inquiries from current and prospective students, faculty, staff, and the public.
• Collaborate with Clinic Director for programming and operationalization tasks.
• Adherence to privacy guidelines.
• Use clinic management systems (e.g., ClinicNote, CardConnect) to assist with clinic operations.
• Assist with student recruitment activities and program events.
• Manage clinic email account and other electronic communication formats.
• Maintain clinic files and archives, including managing electronic databases and overseeing the check-in/check-out processes of materials for students.
• Collaborate with marketing to update clinic flyers and brochures, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information, consistent branding, and effective communication of clinic services and events.
• Track and manage clinic inventory, ensuring accurate records of supplies and equipment.
• Support clinic growth and expansion of clinic days.
• Serve on departmental and college committees if desired.
• Regular attendance at department and clinic meetings.
• Perform related duties based on departmental need.

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience

One (1) year of program coordination experience.
